Released On Deathwish Inc Records
Coming off their now classic "Fuck The Weak" 7'' released on Rock Vegas, Philadelphia's Reign Supreme release their newest brutal onslaught entitled "American Violence" slated for a Feb 19th street date on Malfunction Records. Recorded @ The Machine Shop (Lamb Of God, VOD) by Will Putney, "American Violence" is packed with five devastating tracks for any passionate fan of the heavy music genre.

Led by former Blacklisted guitarist Jay Pepito on vocals, Reign Supreme newest effort busts out in a punishing rage in song "I Stand Defiant." Packed with a fist full of hate and roaring vocals to go along with the heavy guitar and bass tone on the opening track compiled with some back up gang vocals, "I Stand Defiant," makes for a perfect track to the opening of the record. "Iscariot" and "To A Dead God" follow up with an earth shattering sound that few bands possess today. These tracks by far are my favorite jams on the record simply due to the punishing, powerful, sound that esculates through my speakers which has me screaming, "Iscariot" over and over again. Potent and intense the whole way through, "American Violence" ends with tracks "Still Unbroken" and "Faithless." "Still Unbroken" unleashes a sonic roar with relentless energy from start to finsih, with an outro that is pure destruction. Some of the heaviest shit I have witnessed in a long time.

Heavy, intense, passionate are three words that come to mind while you listen to this record. I truly believe that this record is undoubtedly changing the shape of heavy music as a whole with the release of "American Violence." 2008 features a slew of shows which includes a North American and Europen tour for Reign Supreme. European tour kicks off May 30th-June 29th with two Deathwish/Malfunction bands Bitter End and Meltdown who are harder than nails. At this rate, Reign Supreme can not be stopped. Word on the street is that there good dudes who love hc and playing music. So please support this touring machine and go pick up "American Violence" out Feb 19th worldwide or over at Deathwish Inc.com. Estore is open 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day. Pick this shit up asap.
