What Life Is from Yorba Linda, Ca is a band that will bring you blazing metal to your listening pleasure right off the bat. The awaited eleven song ep will have you banging, moshing and finger pointing along all day. Relentless energy from start to finish, ultimate riffage in this eleven track anthem will send you down a vicious cycle of metal, so catchy and in your face, that it will have you playing the record non stop.

One of my personal favorites on the disc is the song "Serpent's Tongue."  "Slaytera" obviously giving praise to the vicious band we know as Slayer, stays true to What Life Is blueprint of metal induced hardcore with a blazing blend of thrashy Slayer influenced music.

Their live set is not to miss and I am sure if you live in so cal you have seen What Life Is a few times already, or at least you should have by now. Tons of energy from start to finish, and ultimate craze is what What Life Is will bring to the table at a live show. One time I saw them open up there set with a Chinese Gong and it literally set the tone for the rest of the set. One of the bands best set to date and I have seen them a bunch since I know some of the dudes in What Life Is. What Life Is just finished up a short west coast trip up to Washington and back down to lovely so cal over winter break up into the new year with friends band What's Worse from Reno, NV. If you haven't checked them out yet, I suggest you do so asap. This ep is right up your alley if your into metal influenced hc with a bit of a thrashy Shark Attack or even xfilesx tip. What Life Is play a ton of local shows, so there is no reason why you should not catch them here real soon. Nice job fellas.
