Ignorance from Maine feature former members of Drug Test and Our Last Stand coming together blasting four demo songs of blistering and in your face inspired hardcore in the vein of early Agnostic Front, Madball, and American Nightmare. The demo shreds at a pace somewhat similar to bands such as Cruel Hand and Let Down but still leaving that sense of urgency for the crucial sing along and dance part. "Psych 101" and the track to follow "I Bleed Slime" lyrically pour out to the hatred of human mankind and society, kids who come and go in the scene, and everything in between. Great tracks that instantly had me playing this short lived demo over and over again. The last two songs "Go Collect Stamps" and "Straight Jacket" are just as sweet. "Go Collect Stamps" basically is calling out everyone who came in the scene by trying to fit in with all the stupid trends in hc and not really paying attention to what bands are really saying or meaning through their music. "Breaking a mold by trying to fit in, ebay has your dunks and you can win, being yourself should be a trend, maybe then this herd of sheep would end." Fucking great. "Straight Jacket" straight up just calling out all fakes, suburban kids who think there macho and bring the bro mosh. Ignorance offers up four awesome tracks and are currently just playing shows around home for now. Really impressed by this demo and you should be too if you like your hardcore straight up fast, pissed and in your face. Great shit.
