Mind Piece straight out of NYC, smash you in the face with a superb six song demo while just recently landing on Nick Jett (Terror, Carry On, Piece By Piece) record label New View Records. Old school hitting hardcore that will keep any fan of the NYHC sound interested in what Mind Piece brings to the table.

A disgruntled vocal style, supreme riffage very similar to current hc bands Terror, Violation pretty much sums up Mind Piece as a whole. Demo rounds up six songs in about ten minutes, instantly making you want to keep it on repeat if your a true hc fan. Adrift, Wearing Thin, The Earth Is Flat are the tracks that stand out most to me while I jam it. Above average songs throughout the whole demo. Im siked on what's to come in the near future with Mind Piece. Mind Piece recently just finished some East Coast tour dates with Terror and are slated for some so cal shows the second week of January 2008 with Violation, Trash Talk. Show your support and be stoked on these shows. Don't be the one who sits outside while they play, or pass on them because you haven't heard much of them. You don't want to be the idiot who is jocking them next year when they blow up. You choose. Be on the lookout for their debut record early spring.

Rating 4/5

For Fans Of: Terror, Violation
