The cd starts off with a really creative instrumental track, which consists of spanish style guitar chords that are extremely melodic and clean. I never thought it would be a good way to start off a hardcore album, but this worked very good leading up to the second track entitled "A Hyhm To Grace". This track starts off with a long and driving build up, with some sound clips over it, and lyrics screaming "I'm stepping out of line, we're stepping out of line." After this builid up, the tempo of the song gets very upbeat, and the lyrics are very positive & encouraging. The whole cd overall is strong. The drumming is very solid, as is the guitars & bass. The vocals are catchy, with sing along parts over the breakdowns & buildups. This is a pretty long demo, 8 songs to be exact, and none of it is repetitive or boring. The cd is upbeat and energetic. Parts of it remind me of old Death By Stereo, Final Fight, Bane, Life Long Tragedy, & Propaghandi. I've never seen this band live, but from what I hear they put on a really good show. Everyone should try and pick up this demo, I think its for free at www.stepuprecords.net .
