![]() Despite all of those traits this album has, its still lyrically powerful and emotional. In the eight song "Shadows", he talks about leaving things hanging over your head and how fucked up that can feel..." There's shadows of a different time hanging over our heads. Lost in the memories of where we've been...Why is it so hard to let go? I always though things would end, far better than this." This song is driving and fast, with guitars that set the mood of the song to match the lyrics. Definitely would love to see this song live. This isn't one of those hardcore albums that clocks in at 15 minutes, which is good. Each song is 2.5 to 3 minutes long, full of fast, pissed off tempos that leave you wanting more. This should please every fan of hardcore. Some of the riffs and song patterns are very similar to there last album, which is my only complaint about it. Other than that I'd say this album is definetly worth a buy, and you wont be let down. For all you fans in Southern Calfornia, Sinking Ships will be playing at Chain Reaction in Anaheim on November 12 with Have Heart, Go It Alone, and more. And i know theres a few other California shows, just not sure of the details. Released by Revelation Records in July 2006. Track Listing:
