Featuring many well known bands and some lesser known bands, Death Comes Ripping should appeal to fans of any type of hardcore. This CD is packed with bands such as Killing the Dream, Modern Life is War, Embrace Today, Cast Aside, 100 Demons, and Blacklisted. Every band on here is a great up-and-coming band, and there are only a few songs that don't stand out to me. The Power & The Glory's "High Winds and Heavy Seas" doesn't appeal to me at all. Six minutes of repetative sounds, is just a bit too boring for me. I can see that it may appeal to other people, but i'll have fun skipping over this track. Another song that I can skip over is Razor Crusade "The Low Spark". The singing sounds like crap, it can definately do without that and it could be a pretty solid track. The rest of the album is pretty damn straight. Stand out track are definately Killing The Dream's "Post Script", Nine's "Watching the Train Go By", and Blacklisted's "Long Way Home".

This cd is no longer available anywhere, it was a one time promotion free at Deathwish Records. But you can read the tracklisting below and go to the Deathwish website and check out those bands.
