The first time I heard Final Fight was about over a year ago. I was handed a spray painted cd with the letters FF on it. It was a four or five song demo, and when I gave it a listen, the first thing I thought was how fun & catchy the music was. Since then Ive seen this band play about four times, and always had an awesome time at their shows, and always wondered when their gonna come out with a full length.

The cd starts off with a really creative instrumental track, which consists of spanish style guitar chords that are extremely melodic and clean. I never thought it would be a good way to start off a hardcore album, but this worked very good leading up to the second track entitled "A Hyhm To Grace".

Damn, I will definitely miss this band. I never even got to see them.. But they were awesome, just think of a darker Him, none of the love nonsense and none of the happy pop melodies.. Pretty much all just sad or straightforward rock riffs. But yes, this c.d. is their swansong. Theyre not even going to tour in America."After that SENTENCED is no more. And: THIS IS IT. |

I recently had the pleasure of catching two shows on the From Ashes Rise, Paint it Black and Coliseum tour. From ashes rise was awesome, as was paint it black, but I'd have to say the best part of the shows was simply watching Louisville's Coliseum.
