Modern Life Is War posted up two new songs. I really love this band, but I'm not too into these new songs. Hopefully the rest of the album comes out better.

Here's an update from the band:
We have 2 of our new songs posted up on the loved and hated myspace. www.myspace.com/modernlifeiswar (yes, we have one and no, we don’t really like it.) These songs kick ass. It was hard to choose just 2 songs to put up because the record covers a lot of ground, but this is a good taste. We also have free CD samplers of these songs on our current tour.

The record comes out August 21st on Equal Vision Records and it’s called “Midnight in America” Once again the vinyl will be released on Lifeline Records thanks to “the biggest of the Joes.” We will be doing another full US tour in September and October with a bunch of different killer bands. More info on that will be coming soon.

Wow. I just got this CD a few days ago and im in love with it. It's nice to hear some fresh music come out, I've been pretty let down by new hardcore releases the past few years.

Modern Life Is War has completed work on their forthcoming album, "Midnight In America," with indie-rock producer J. Robbins (Against Me!, Murder By Death).

The Iowa band will be touring this summer with He Is Legend and Maylene & The Sons of Disaster. They will be joined by House of Fools on the first half of the tour, and Paulson on the second.

Expect Modern Life Is War to be carrying a two-song sampler of "Midnight In America" on the road with them featuring the songs "Stagger Lee" and "The Motorcycle Boy Reigns" from the new album.

Midnight In America will be released on August 21st through Equal Vision Records.

New York hardcore band Full Blown Chaos has officially signed with Ferret Music. The group will release their next full-length, "Heavy Lies The Crown," with Ferret in August. Singer Ray Mazzola comments:

"We spoke to a lot of labels and a lot of big players made offers but no band on Ferret we've known has had bad dealings or picked up and left on bad terms, there's a lot to say about that. We needed a label that is going to work as hard as us, you can only go so far if your team doesn't put as much into your band as you do and we feel we have that with Ferret."

Formed in 1997, the band has released material with Jailhouse Records and Stillborn Records.
