CRUEL HAND unveils "Life In Shambles"-1st New Song from Prying Eyes Out October 14th

Maine's Cruel Hand has unveiled the first new song from their Bridge Nine debut full-length Prying Eyes Available October 14th. The song, titled Life In Shambles will also be featured on a limited edition 7 EP of the same name available at the end of September. You can hear the song at Bridge9.com/cruelhand or myspace.com/cruelhand. We'll warn you Bridge9.com sounds better. Recorded with Jay Maas at the Massachusetts stronghold of Getaway Group and God City studios, Cruel Hand has taken their influences of early Metallica, Leeway, Cro-Mags and Madball and put it into a blender that has resulted in one of the hardest and catchiest hardcore albums in recent memory. It's metal influenced hardcore or hardcore with metal or whatever you want to call it. It's punishing. It's made for the live setting and there will be plenty of opportunities to catch Cruel Hand as 2008 ends and 2009 begins in the USA AND EuropeTour w/True Colors October 3-12thOct 3 2008 Championship Lemoyne, PAOct 4 2008 Hi Fi Lakewood, Ohio Oct 5 2008 Static Age Romeo, MI Oct 6 2008 Stuido BLR Toronto, Ontario Oct 7 2008 TBA Montreal, QuebecOct 8 2008 La Marina Chicotimi, QuebecOct 9 2008 Anchors Up Haverhill, MAOct 10 2008 Stolen Sleeves Brooklyn, NYOct 11 2008 Stelton Church Edison, New JerseyOct 12 2008 PBCH Milford, Connecticut

Sound and Fury, thanks again...

Big ups to Bob, Riley and Todd for putting together another outstanding hardcore festival. The whole weekend ruled, no drama, fights, and everyone for the most part respected each other and most importantly the venue. Great job. If you didn't make it out, hopefully you can plan ahead and make it out next year if they decide to have another fest in 09. Love one another.

Rhode Island's Verse are a band that everybody is probably familiar with as they have been one of the biggest bands in hardcore since their 2004 debut full length Rebuild came out on Rivalry Records. The band has been on the road consistently since then and has yet to slow down.
